How to use Prostar Eyelash Extension Adhesive -available in 5ml or 10ml size

We have had this adhesive since 2007 and its is still the top ..
 Just some extra tips for how to use and what to expect when using "Prostar"Adhesive .Our adhesive
Firstly: Keep Prostar at a consistant temperture at all times .
 Until opening keep Prostar refrigerated consistant temperature always
After opening keep in cool place outside refrigerator-no sunlight direct or indirect
Don't shake Prostar with any device except your hand ! 30 seconds is enough- Left and right and up and down . Prostar does not need more than the normal shaking.

 This glue will make you fast-or faster:and your clients (and you) will love the long hold once you get the system that works best for you
> However remember :
  Prostar is an advanced glue so you need to be an experienced eyelash technician.:..
Prostar dries so quickly so if youre not a fast lasher and will be dry by the time you get it from the extension to the natural lash.
And then you will have to use another extension because it will dry in the air and there is no double dipping the same extension again !
 Some more Tips:
> 1) keep the glue on the forehead of your client if you've wrap a towel or protection around her hair. Near you very near-(on a glue support that you can stick down and it won't move).Don't worry about the sneezing shes not jumping up that high and the tweezer is more dangerous.
> 2) you can tape the extensions or lashes from the speed trays, silk trays or loose extensions to the top part of your hand or place on the big rectangle silicon pad.
> 3) Now isolate the natural lash with the tweezer of your choice
> 4) dip 1/2 or 3/4 of the extension in the glue leaving a little bead or 2 on the extension...
> 5) lift it directly up and place the extension correctly (at least a millimeter always away from the eyelid.)..on the natural eyelash and move on.... to the other eye.
> 6) you will not have time to move OR MANIPULATE the extension once it is on the natual eyelash for it is now practically dry... and you should be isolating another lash on the other eye
> 7) continue like this until you have completed the application.
> This process, from the dip to the placement of the eyelash extension should not take more than a second.
> The glue begins to dry immediately in the air when you lift the extension out of the glue... (and that is why you need to have your glue and extensions close by)
> 8) Practice makes a perfect long lasting application with Prostar.
> 9) the more you use it, the easier it will be to see how it works and you will find your own method.
> 10) You should have your client wait at least 24 hours to make certain the glue has set,
> no washing eyes for at least 24-36 hours.
> The results will be beautiful and an appointment for a touch-up should be each 3 weeks if you are using long extensions. But clients do go on to 4 even 5 weeks without a touch up while on vacation

What is the difference between Silk, Synthetic Minks, and Faux Minks eyelashes?
 

 

Silk lashes are used more and more for eyelash extensions to obtain a glossy glamorous look. At Cilsfrance,we offer silk eyelashes in C, B, and J curls with a  diameter from 0.0.7 to 0.15, and lengths from 06 through 15

 

The advantage  of using silk eyelashes is that they are soft and lightweight. Lashers or lash technicians can apply silk extensions alone or in addition to authentic or faux mink  extensions to obtain more volume and shine . Silk extensions add a glossy shine that minks do not have as they are more mat.

 Silk lashes are finer than synthetic loose lashes. They are not as "stiff" as the synthetic faux mink lashes and therefore do not have the thickness that synthetic faux mink normally  have.

 

Having said that.. When used alone silk eyelashes add high gloss and best for clients who want to add volume and shine to their natural lashes. They are light in weight so for adding lengtht in 0.07 diameter, its easy to do without damaging the natural lash itself.

The differnces are that synthetic faux mink extensions lashes are more mat and will be designed for people who desire a more natural look, certainly the thicker the diameter

 

Authentic (real mink) lashes are more costly, and preferred for their weightless and soft quality. You also wont need as many touch-ups  because they stay on longest  time and grow out well due to their lightweight texture. They are the most natural and comfortable refined look of all. When making our mink lash no animal credulity involved in the process. The animal hair is gently combed and then sterilized to make the most exclusive men's shaving brushes or our eyelash extensions.
